    This is my favorite of these 3 shots. You know I love sepia, and I know you do too. The timeless quality, her features emphasized with makeup, her dress, the dof in the background, all make this a breathtaking portrait.

    Ruth, traditionally women used to darken their eyes using 'Kaajal' a mixture of soot and oil out of oil lamps (deepam).
    a dash of kajal is applied on the cheeks of infants to ward off evil.
    Men use Surma, lead power around their eyes. this is not as black as Kaajal. dark grey it is. supposed to be good for the eyes. my mom used to apply it on me, there is some cooling effect.
